Founded in 2007 in Lincolnshire, England, with the ambition to make sustainable transport both accessible and attractive, Batribike has built a strong reputation as a recognised British electric bike brand over the years.

In 2017, Batribike initiated a strategic partnership with the Danish electric bicycle manufacturer Promovec A/S, and in 2022, Promovec took over full ownership of the brand.

Promovec has more than 25 years of experience in the development and design of electric bicycles and electric systems. Today, the proud English heritage is continued in Denmark, where the electric bicycles are developed - and many of the components are produced locally.

The electric bikes are based on Promovec's well-known electrical systems and proven components, which makes service and repair easy and accessible through our large network of dealers.
