Batribike stockist P & J Vehicles is the place to go for an electric bike, Maldon, Essex. The company specialises in two wheel vehicles and offers sales and servicing for electric bicycles as well as motorcycles.
Electric power is of special interest to Paul and Julia, they recognise the benefits of both cycling with assistance and also the low level of noise pollution from electric motorcycles.
There is plenty of parking spaces on site and an opportunity to test ride from the premises.
The Batribike range of bikes is manufactured in Europe to the latest UK and EU regulations. They are legal to use without a license or test. The pedelecs are classified as bicycles and can therefore go anywhere a bike can, cycle lanes and routes as well as shared use paths are all suitable. In addition they are legal to use on the road without any special safety equipment, although we would always recommend the use of a cycle helmet.
The bikes have a high quality finish on the frames that is followed through with high quality components and industry leading warranties.
Easy to use
The easy to use controls are fitted conveniently to the handlebars. You can choose the level of assistance to suit your riding or even no assistance at all.
For commuting you may choose to use the highest level of assistance. This allows you to arrive wearing ‘destination clothing’ and not in need of a shower and change of clothes!
The opposite may be true for your leisure ride. You may choose to lower assistance levels for a whole day trip and then boost the power for hills. Another option is to have a folding electric bike, they are easy to stow in the boot of a car, motorhome or caravan.
