How much assistance? It is up to you. The handlebar display lets you choose the level of help you need. Some riders may prefer to have a small amount of assistance on the flat and increase that for hills and headwinds.

Commuters, you can choose the highest level of assistance so that you can arrive wearing ‘destination clothing’ and not in need of a shower and change of clothes! You may then choose a lower level for exercise on you homeward journey. Alternatively a higher level may get you home quicker.
