Local Routes

The area has several traffic free routes including Bournemouth Promenade, which stretches from Hengistbury Head in the east, to Sandbanks in the west. There are some time restrictions but it is still a great way to get around the wonderful coastline.

The Castleman Trailway is a 16 mile traffic free route that takes you through some of East Dorset’s most stunning landscape.  The Trailway starts at Upton Country Park in Poole and follows much of the old Castleman Corkscrew railway line through Broadstone and on to the River Stour at Wimborne.
