Datatag is now fitted as standard to the whole range of BATRIBIKE Electric Bicycles
This exclusive agreement with Datatag means that as from Monday 17th February 2014 every new electric bike that leaves from Lincolnshire based warehousing facility will have the Datatag system fitted.
There is nothing further the supplying dealer needs to do. The end Customer simply registers their Datatag for complete peace of mind.
We are excited to be working with Datatag. This is an unprecedented move to fit Datatag to each and every model in our range.
We believe that there are many advantages to having the system fitted. Our customers often worry about the possibility of theft and Datatag has a proven track record as a deterrent. There are other benefits too, including cheaper insurance as major insurers offer reduced premiums for Datatagged bikes.
The move reinforces Batribike’s position as a major electric bike brand in the UK, offering high quality technology at affordable prices.
How it Works
Datatag UV “Stealth” PRO Cycle System including Datadots®
The Datatag UV “Stealth” PRO Cycle System is ideal for BATRIBIKE Electric Bicycles and is a Police Preferred Crime Prevention Product. The system protects your bicycles frame and forks, plus the Datadots® are used to mark many of your electric and non-electric cycle components. The system includes the following state-of-the-art technology:
“Stealth” UV Etching
The unique, almost invisible UV etching system, forms a major part of the risk deterrent and subsequent identification. These “stealth” UV etches don’t visibly mark your cycle paintwork!
Ultimate TE Label
They warn off any potential thieves and are both attractive and impossible to remove without damage.
A quick scan of the QR code displays the Make & Model of the bike but does not display any personal information. Police can obtain further information via their linked PNC systems.
A superior microdot identification system developed for ease of use. The Datadots® can be applied to any surface, and we have chosen strategic places on major components, thus making it virtually impossible for the criminals to locate and remove them all.
Fitted as Standard
You must remember to register your Datatag as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of purchasing your bike.
You will need the two codes printed on the Label attached to your frame. The Unique Cycle Visible ID Number and the Datatag Stealth Etch Code. These can also be found on the Datatag documentation included with your bike.
This is a separate registration system to our Batribike Warranty Registration.
