Local cycle routes

Whitehaven is poised at the start of the C2C cycle path which stretches across the Pennines to the east coast. A long distance route is not for everyone so perhaps you could try the Whitehaven to Ennerdale Cycle Path. The 10 mile surfaced path is part of the West Cumbria cycle network.
