Celebrating TEN Years of Batribike

Here at Batribike we think that ten years in electric bikes is definitely something to shout about! When we started way back in November 2007 we couldn’t have imagined where the journey would take us or how the industry would develop in such a relatively short time.

Limited edition with centre motor

To mark this auspicious milestone in our history we have launched an exciting new centre motor ebike, the Batribike TEN. The anniversary bike is available in either a step through or crossbar frame and is a limited edition of just 50 bikes of each style.

Unique boost system with centre motor

Utilising the centre LCD and button control/half grip twist control has given a huge advantage to these mid-motor bikes. This control system is an optional upgrade on other bikes in the range. The twist control can give an instant extra boost (whilst pedalling). This system is possible using a rotation sensor, a combination that has not previously been used on a centre motor bike.

Hidden batteries

The bikes have the 10.4Ah (375Wh) battery ‘hidden’ in the frame giving a sleek and uncluttered look to the styling. There is also the option to upgrade the battery to 13.6Ah (490Wh). Couple all of this with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and Deore gearing and you have an elegant, powerful electric bike competitively priced at £1749.

Sue Coulson continued “Moving our production to Europe and partnering with ProMovec for our electric systems has propelled our designs forward and created an exciting outlook. The whole company is celebrating our tenth anniversary and looking forwards to the future and the upcoming developments in technology.”
