Christmas Opening Times, Pricing Changes and Staff Changes

Christmas Holly

Christmas Opening

The Batribike offices will be closed from lunchtime on Friday 21stDecember and will re-open at 9.00am on Wednesday 2ndJanuary 2019.

Pricing strategy for 2019

We are changing the way we invoice you for bikes to make it easier to select battery options. You will be invoiced separately for the bike and the battery which will make the invoices clearer. It will also help us with stock control.

We are maintaining a strong pricing strategy for 2019, especially in view of the current anti-dumping tax that some of our competitors are now facing.

From 1stJanuary the starting RRP remains the same for the Omega £1199 and Sigma £1249, however, they will come with an 8.8Ah 320Wh battery. This will enable customers to compare like for like when viewing other brands. We have also added a large capacity 16.8Ah 600Wh carrier option.

The starting RRP of the Alpha £1299 will also remain the same and include an 8.8Ah 320Wh battery but we can now offer a 12.8Ah 460Wh as well as the 10.4Ah 375Wh option.

The Delta price remains at £1499 including the 10.4Ah 375Wh battery. The Quintessential price remains the same at £1299.

Price reductions

There is a price reduction for the TEN bikes to £1699 with the 10.4Ah 375Wh battery, and the Perdu is reduced to £1299 (If you have any outstanding existing stock of Perdu, please contact the office.)

Increased Battery warranty

We are delighted to announce that all carrier and down-tube mounted batteries will come with a 3 year warranty as standard for customer sales from 1stJanuary. Customers must register their warranty (FOC) to upgrade from standard 2 years to 3 years.

Saddlebag (Quintessential) and Chaincase (Perdu) batteries remain at the still excellent, 2 years.

Staff Changes

Having done a complete overhaul of the Batribike website earlier this year Ralph is moving on to fresh technical challenges in a completely different industry (plants – of the garden variety!). He remains a director of one of the holding companies that own Batribike, and will continue to support the Batribike office team with technical help.

For any enquiries that you would have directed to Ralph, please contact the office.

Wishing you all a Happy Festive Season and a Healthy and Prosperous New Year
